Not being redundant but right angle weave or RAW is the easiest beading technique I have learned. It’s really easy to understand that’s why this technique is suitable for beginners. It is easy to build up your beadwork and create a strip of RAW, which can be used as a foundation to other beading techniques.
Building up rows, you can easily create a ring or a bracelet.

…and you’ll see that as you build up a flat RAW you’ll find that you can embellish and add a different color of bead in between the units of RAW. You can add crystals, pearls or bicones. You’ll be surprised that there’s so many you can do with a flat RAW.
