Let’s begin with the project with the following materials. Like I said, you can make the earrings big or smaller and use any size of beads and/or bicones you prefer. With the following materials, the earrings’ size is about 1 inch in diameter.

Materials and tools:
2 ear wires
10 x 4mm bicone crystals
1mm (18 ga) copper wire
0.32mm (28 ga) copper wire
round nose pliers
wire cutter
mandrel or any rounded object

Step 1: Take a round object and wrap the 1mm (18 ga) wire. After wrapping and creating a perfect circle, make a loop on one end of the wire to serve as your bail.

Step 2: Cut approximately 40 inches of 28 ga wire from the spool and start wrapping it onto the earring frame, starting inside the loop and wrap the entire earring frame.

Step 3: Keep wrapping until you pass through the loop again. Then slide in a bicone into the wire and continue to wrap the wire, but this time with the bicone.

Step 4: Continue wrapping the entire earring frame with the bicones then cut off excess wires.

Step 4: Cut approx. 30 inch 28 ga wire. Crossing the center of the earring frame and in between 2 bicones, wrap around the earring frame 2 – 3 times neatly. Then bring the wire down the center of the earring frame, parallel the last bicone and wrap once in between 2 bicones.

Step 5: Then bring the wire up, creating a “V” shape and wrap again once.

Step 6: Continue wrapping up and down, and in between 2 bicones until you reached the very last bicone. Secure the wire by wrapping tightly and cutting excess wire. Attach ear wires and you’re done!
