FREE Ornate Beaded Earrings Tutorial by Tamara McFarland

I found it a little late learning about this tutorial. If not through the help of some friends I would have not found it. But like what they say, it’s better late than never, besides the fact that this one is irresistible not to feature, share and re-create.

Ornate Beaded Earrings Tutorial by Tamara McFarland

The earring design has a tone of silvery color. The pearls and silver beads combination is elegant that makes the earrings fit for formal occasions and I’m thinking of a christening occasion where I am invited this coming weekend.

My first impression on the earring design is that it is difficult to make and for beginners, you would think that you have to weave the small beads around the pearls. When I checked out the tutorial, it’s simply just wrapping the beads around the pearls. No other technique was used which is simply perfect for beginners who like to explore working with wires. Yes, I mentioned wires because Tamara McFarland used 28 ga sterling silver wires to bead wrap the pearls. For beginners, if you’re thinking whether you can use beading threads or nylon, I suggest you go with Tamara’s suggested materials because the finished piece has a little curve and that’s because of the wire. Beading and nylon thread are soft and it won’t create the curve effect.
