FREE Glamorous Hair Clips Jewelry Making Tutorial

Graduation is near and next to it are graduation parties! Some, I think are already preparing for their prom nights. Well, if you’re looking for a cool hair accessory, here’s something you can wear on that much awaited prom night and graduation parties!

Talented Reem is the brain behind this hair accessory. After creating the Headband Tutorial she now came up with something unique. Incorporating feathers into the design it added glamour and style. It’ll be interesting to know how she created it so let’s follow her tutorial. For the first part, we’ll try and create beaded twig-like pieces.

Step 1: Cut a piece of wire about 20 cm, slide in 1 big pearl into the wire.

Step 2: Press on the both sides of the and twist the wire a few centimeters long using your pair hands.

Step 3: Separate the part of the wire that’s not twisted and slide in another pearl into one wire and twist again.

Step 4: Separate again the untwisted wire and slide in a third bead and twist again.

Step 5: Do the same with the 5th and 6th bead then finally, twist the base of the wire so that you’ve got the 1st unit of beads.

Step 6: Repeat Step 1 to 5 to have several units of beads. At this point, you can create the units of beads however you want them to look like. You can create variations to it, slide in as many beads and make more twigs, and position the twigs according to your liking.
